  • 90g margarine
  • 125g selfraising flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 125g rolled oats
  • 30g caster sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • milk if necessary.

Preheat Oven : 180C ??
Baking time 12 - 15min

  • Cut marge into pieces 
  • Rub into flour and salt with finger tips
  • Stir in oats and sugar
  • Add egg and mix to stiff dough. (adding about 1 teaspoon of milk if necessary)
  • Bake in moderate oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden brown
  • Put on baking tray to cool.
