boil syrup :     

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4  cups hot water

Gelatine :

  • 16 teasp. Gelatine.
  • 1 1/4  cups cold water

When syrup is ready pour into gelatine and cold water.

Beat till thick add :

  • 1/4 teasp cream of tartar.
  • 1 teasp.  Cornflour.
  • Pinch of salt.
  • 2 teasp vanilla essence.
  • Pour into greased pan then place in fridge.
  • Cut up
  • Can roll in roasted coconut
